Con rod ends recircled and all centres checked and matched and ARP bolts by Real Steel in Uxbridge New Crank along with the ARP main studs now fitted to block, and torqued up
Pistons being fitted, the blue hose on the con rod bolts is there to protect the crank journals when the pistons are fitted in the bores All pistons fitted and ring gaps measured and filed as needed.
Engine starting to take shape again, and awaiting final fitting of heads
Head chambers filled with parafine and left for 2 days to see if valve seats are leaking, The exhaust and inlet ports will be filled next to test for leaks from that side,
Once the new oil pump gears arrive the engine can be finally finished.
