I have fitted some roller top mounts to my 2.8 struts. Iv got the capri sport 1in lower 190 springs,, but with the roller top mounts on ,the lenth of the strut now looks an 1in taller than with the old top mounts...
, will this make the car ride higher??, or is ride hight all in the spring??

I've just done exactly the same on my Mk3, added roller top mounts and 1 inch lower springs, but had to have new top mounting bushes machined up to ensure I didn't get the extra 1 inch ride height. Got a small machine shop nearby to knock them up for me, didn't cost much, a tenner I think. Just the hassle was annoying after I was told by Burton that they should fit ok.
