mondeo calipers on a 2.8 ???

Restoring a 2.8 with shot front calipers , bit of a budget rebuild ,cant afford fancy brake kits so looking to use something that is cheap !!
been told mondeo mk1 calipers will fit ? running standard 13 alloys , any help or advice would be appreciated ....
