upgrading master cylinder before bigger discs

Post by slimrs »

im looking to upgrade to the caprisport brembo brakes when i have saved some pennies, or santa brings me some which may be a few months. i have my engine bay empty at the minute to give it a lick of paint and was wondering if it would be easier to upgrade the master cylinder to the land rover one now. im running the standard 2.8i set up at the minute, will the brakes suffer at all???

You will need a larger master cylinder which will mean changing to a 2 litre servo.

The Brembo calipers don't have large pistons so they are not realy the pronblem.
The up-grade to rear discs is where the extra fluid movement is most important.
