handbrake cable for 280 system

hi bought a modified handbrake cable from c/s can some one please tell me how to fit it. i keep hearing something about drilling a hole in the lever?

It will fit the lever perfectly. The only thing you will need to do is
anchor the second side.
Get the calipers on and working
fit the cable to the lever and the adjuster in the original anchor
Connect to the calipers both sides and hold the cable in place
You should now see where the 2nd anchor needs to go
(not dead opposite the original but somewhere near)
Do not fit it in the tunnel, the prop will hit it.
It goes on the horizontal surface close to the exhaust.
Just in case - the calipers go on with the cable fitting to the rear.
