Bilstein Strut Help

Post by Coops »

After a bit of help,
the top bush in my strut tubes (nylon collar) that the inserts slide through have worn and there is now play when you rock the wheel,
anyone know if these can be repaired/replaced?

Hi Tony,

I dont think they can be replaced. That's one reason I changed to the 2.0 strut as its possible to replace the insert and you can also change to adjustable quite cheaply.

I believe thay can be replaced but finding the spares is the problem.

Would have to agree with Reg - go to base model struts - makes much more sense.
