i used the princess ones upto september last year with no probs at all, they are a good upgrade as long as you find a decent set of calipers, which now days is near beyond impossible,
the granada conversion is a good conversion, and i have had the pleasure of trying them on a car, and was impressed,
Im now using the next generation of caprisport brake packages, and believe me they are f@@king awsome

Think you have the answer to that one?

The Princess caliper is a cast iron antique - the only reason people used them was is ease of fitting and were cheap in the dim and distant.

Now there are much better solutions, there is no good reason - leav 'em to the Escort fanciers.

You won't like this but here's how it is - stop wasting time asking questions and have a deal with Reg.
When you finally see the light and do it, you'll wonder why you didn't do it years ago, and you too will laugh at the Princess caliper joke.
