Severe Wobble in the Steering.

How'd all,
Just want to pick your brains.
I have my 1.6 capri back on the road for while now and i've recently replaced the TCA's and sterring ball joints.I haven't been able to get anti roll bar bushes for it yet to change, they definitly need changing.
My question is now when i'm driving and get to about 30 or 40 mph the car gets a severe wobble in the steering (like a speed wobble on a bike) then if i put the foot down a bit the wobble isn't as bad.
It's dangerous now and i have no idea what it could be.
Would the anti roll bushes cause this wobble?
Cheers

Mine has done the same for ages and still does after poly bushing the front end. I think it was engineered into the car by Ford
Dont overlook the easiest answers. If its realy that bad you need to start from the begining. I had a set of budget tyres on the front of a calibra once that went egg shaped litarely over night and caused bad vibration.
I have learn't to live with my wobble although it isn't too bad.

Thanks for the reply mfw898y,
might have to agree about the ford built in extra

Somebody was telling me about the steering rack giving faults and that you can use washers to tighten this up.
So i'll be checking into that.

Actually the rack mounts totally slipped my mind. I haven't touched them although I have some alloy mounts that bolt on without rubber bushes. Its been off the road so havent bothered fitting them. As soon as i get it back on the road i'll let you know how they feel.
