2.8 back axel

hi i have a 2.8 back axel dnt no anyfin else about it has it got a lsd or was that only on certain 2.8 if so is there any way to check b4 i put this on thanks
2.8i specials had lsd's
turn either a wheel or the front flange and the wheels will turn both in the same direction.
