You are asking some worying questions for someone launching into
a 24V swap.
Yes is the simple answer although spacers are available to make the existing calipers fit.
You should be looking seriously at some brakes that will actually stop the car rather than a budget mod that will slow it down a bit!
I'm surprised no one else has answerd this. mind you, I had to read it twice and then again just to be sure!

maybe i should explain my posts in mpre detail the 2.8 brakes are wanted to go on my 1.6 to 2litre pinto conversion not my 2 litre to 24v cossie conversion havent even rely began to loo at brakes for the coosie thanks for the advice tho
