Suspension knock

I have a knock coming from the front right drivers side of my 280. I have replaced the track rod end and the crontrol arm bushes. The knock happens occaisonaly in a straight line but mostly when turning left or right. The steering is also more stiff turning right than left. Cheers.

Have you checked that your spring hasn't snapped on the drivers side? Just a thought. When you push down on the drivers side does the suspension return smoothly or does it snag as it's comming back up? Could be a knackered front strut

I think it must be something like that, When you leave the car for a little while then lean on the wing to try to compress the suspension it seems rock hard, then you here a knock then it gives as normal. Going to check it out this wekend. Cheers.

i have now changed the struts and springs and it is still anoying me. running short of things it could be.
