Does anyone know if you can get a new cap for a 2.8i ate Brake Reservoir or if a cap from say, a later Escort will fit ?

We've used caps off Sierra's so there is every possibility that the Escort cap will be ok.

One thing to note though. The later stuff uses a Bosch plug so you have to modify the wiring.

It's a simple soulder and heatshrink job and I think the wires are the same colours.

Yeah, I was thinking of a later one with the Bosch connector, to make it a bit more upto date. CSR is that Neil from Caprisport? If so thanks Neil ! What Sierra do you use the cap from? any Sierra do?

Cheers Mate ;)

Not this time - it's Jon.

The early Sierra had the same push on type plug as the Capri.

Think all the mk 2 stuff is ok

ABS is obviously no good - cap is very different.
