Question 2 is regarding the oil pressure and temperature guage, please can you explain what needs to be done to modify these. thanks

sorry, the rev counter, not the temp gague, presumably the temp sender for the 2.8 can be used.

Swap the temp sender to the one that goes with the guage.

You will need a late 2.8 rev counter - one with a white base.

There is a green wire from the EDIS module for the rev counter.
Connect where the green coil- wire went.

Oil guage - swap the fitting off the 2.8 engine.
As simple as it sounds.
