Savannah Cloth

Post by Mitesh Parmar »

Hi, new on here. Hope you don't mind me posting this here.
I'm not actually a Capri owner but a Fiesta mk1 owner over from www.fiesta-mk1.co.uk

I'm looking for a bit of help please.
We're trying to trace some interior trim material that I believe the Capri S uses and was also shared on some Fiesta MK1's (used on Fiesta Supersports, L and S models).

The trim is on the side of the seats and I believe was called Savannah Cloth by fords.

Here's a pic (the side black ribbed fabric, is what we're looking for) -

Is there a source for this cloth at all please, in Black (remanufactured?)?

If not, we over on www.fiesta-mk1.co.uk are trying to to encourage a company to remanufacture some, but the company will only make a batch if we have enough people interested (they have had some before, but have now run out of stock).
Would any Capri owners be interested (would be in Black)?
We're not looking for payments, just people to show that they would be interested in some if they made it. (would be between £30-£40 per meter (a lot I know), but maybe less if we get enough people interested).

Thank you
