Bumper refurb

I'm refurbing the front and back bumpers on my 2.8i; they are standard black and I was going to respray them... but now wondering would it be better to get them powdercoated instead?
Any experiences/suggestions?

had my bumpers shot blast and powder coated about 6yrs ago,
still look like new today

Got my bumpers back today... fantastic!
Good as new finish and only cost me £20.
Highly recommended!
