Inner Wing To Bulkhead Corrosion

Hi Guys,
Having just stripped out all the interior sound deadening I've found I can see daylight out of both footwells. It's where the vertical weld was on the outermost edge of footwell. I guess this is a common problem since all kinds of crap seems to collet in th back of the innner wings. So I was wondering what the best stratergy for repair. I was going to cut out the rust and fabricate a new bit of metal to weld in the space. But that will be time consuming and access is difficult with the wing on. Are there repair panels that people use? And if you were doing it would you remove the wing?
Cheers guys,
Simon

TBH m8, If you want to repair it properly, you willl need to remove the wing. Once removed you WILL find more rust than you thought.
If the panle is really goosed you can buy panels, I just welded mine with patches.
