STRUT TOP REPAIR PANELS

Hi, just wondering if anyone has recently bought strut top repair panels for the mk3 capri. I have and its all labelled up as capri but when i have checked it against the old top plates the main hole dia is bigger than that originally on my capri. Have I got the wrong ones or is this all you can get as im sure it suits a number of old fords. Finally is the plate i have got ok to use.

the cheap ones are absolute rubbish. They are ok for repairing for MOT, but that's about all. Expressed steel panels do the pukka strut top strengthening plates as fitted to the V6 shells... a bit expensive, but they fit perfectly.
