Hello all
I've ordered a brand new sunroof seal from East Kent Trim (http://www.classiccar-trim.com/). Anyone know if it's possible to fit without completely removing the sunroof....?
Thanks
MkIII Tilt/Slide sunroof seal

Yes, but be careful
With a bit of fiddling you can, but you will need to do it with the sunroof headlining removed. You can get access to all of the sunroof surround with a combination of having the sunroof up and down (carefully!) but your best bet may just be to remove the sunroof headlining- mark the mounting bolts with tipex and unbolt the sunroof skin from the sliders. Just be carefull to check the alighnment when you first test it up and down and then back just in case its a touch higher than it orginally was.
Oh, and you're get lovely greasy fingers if you try to do it with the sunroof fitted from the sliders - be careful not to get any one the roof headlining!
