3.5 Rover V8 + Capri = FUN!!!! (when its finished)
Blimey, been a while since i update this.
Last winter i stripped and rebuilt a 3.5 rover v8 engine to go into my capri, and fitted it march this year.
then proceeded to have a slight incident in may on a round about resulting in a few dents!!
finally in July the car was repaired and treated to a full respray so here is how she stands now!
Spec:
3.5 Rover V8 engine
3.9efi Camshaft
9.75:1 Compression Pistons
Late 4.6l Cylinder Heads
Edelbrock 500 carb and inlet manfiold
Mallory Fully Electronic Ignition
Capri 4 spd Gearbox with Milton Race Preperation quickshift
Some Extra Gauges put in by me
More work to be done over the winter, look for updates in the "Garage Scene" section of the forum.

Cheers for the comments.
When I had the 2.8 on carb, it was the same bhp/torque as the injection system (had an RR session in both forms). The power delivery was much better in my opinion, gave the engine more low down grunt with the carb, and seemed to rev a bit free-er.
