My 4.6 stage3 V8 Mk3 Capri

The Car:
Well it is a 1986 Mk3 Ford Capri Laser,
which has been modified to take a Rover 4.6 efi V8 and TVR R380 5 speed gearbox,
it has a sports twin exhaust system, with caprisport 'X' pipe.
special made 2 piece prop,
with 2.8i Capri Lsd Axle with cosworth discs (vented) with sierra calipers,
Caprisport converted front coilover struts with Gaz inserts and roller top mounts,
315mm veted discs and Brembo 4 pot calipers,
powersteering rack from 2.8i Capri which is mated up to the Rover powersteering pump,
Caprisport axle location kit, and uprated 2.8i anti roll bars with poly
bushes fitted through out the whole car,
and to finish the chassis of is a set of 16" monza alloy wheels, shod with Kuhmo ku31 sport tyres, (205x45xzr16)
BFG drag radials on rear for race days (205x50x15)

The Engine:
Its the latest rover stiff block design 4 bolt mains version,
has a Crower 50233 race high lift cam with Rhoads hi-rev lifters (hydrualic),
Chrome molly adjustable push rods, and steel vernier timing gears,
with ARP head studs,
home built hybrid hotwire/twin plenum efi with VEM's fully mappable ecu,
JR race induction filter, V8Dev stg3 heads, FSE high pressure fuel regulator,
lightened flywheel with a AP-Racing green spring clutch
and a Highpower 200i Nitrous Oxide kit with progressive nitrous controller. (150 bhp)
crank triggered ignition system,

The Inside:
Standard Capri except for rear seats removed a Saftey Devices 6 point roll cage fitted,
Battery moved to the boot,
light weight recliner bucket front seats,
ripspeed steering wheel,
line loc for front brakes,
The Rear seat has been removed
and carpet retrimmed where the rear seat was originaly fitted

just to say that is one stuning capri, and a very neat conversion.

engine upgraded:
stage 3 v8 development/rovertec heads.
shortened uprated valve springs,
pocketed pistons.
crower 50233 cam,
crane high-rev anti pump up lifters.
Kent duplex vernier timing gears and chain.

Update:

FRONT:
full caprisport upgraded brake package,
brembo progressive alloy 4-pot calipers with 315mm cross drilled and vented discs.

REAR:
275mm vented cross drilled cossie discs with vented granada callipers,

I watched the guys at Caprisport the day the car went over for this conversion,
and the time and dedication they put into fitting and making sure each component is within its tolerences was amazing,
i would of done half the things they did, this is why im no brake expert and they are...
I was glad i got them to do the brakes as i now know it is done proper and fook me they stop well now.

I'm new here, everything is very interesting.
