well think its time i updated this,
the car is now running,
http://media.putfile.com/Second-Fire-up-of-stg3-v8
needs a remap session, but we are mobile, had a few gremlins to sort out as the vac unit did not cure the fault, the ecu was sent away and that was fine too,
turned out to be a faulty lock nut on the new pushrods, it had failed and wound its adjuster out which held the exhaust valve open on one cylinder

Well summer has come and gone again,
and the job list for this winter has started.
a full braided -06 fuel line is planned,
a caprisport one off strut brace,
new timing cover and oil pump to fit,
13 row oil cooler and remote filter to fit,
front strut roller top mounts to be fitted.
Gas rams on bonnet,
Mover radiator and fans,
mount air intake filter in front of rad for cold air intake.
thats the list so far,
NO doubt it will change as the show season gets nearer again

well not much has been done off the list,
BUT have added to the list,
Now have a set of 440cc bosch green motorsport injectors to fit (this weekend i hope 16/02/08 ),
and have a diode to install on the ecu to help with the injector settings with using the bigger injectors, (this weekend also)

last weekend we had a throttle spring break and jam the throttle wide open nearly totalling mine and two other cars,
this weekend, we nearly wrote her off with a rear end puncture,
on removing the rear wheel we came across this sticking out the inner side wall,
this is the entry point and what was sticking out the sidewall
we went back to where we heard the bang and found this lot in the road, just think if it was someone on a motorbike that hit this lot,
BUT on a brighter note:
while the car is laid up with no rear tyres,
i got on doing the injection system ready (fingers crossed) for the WON day at FAST.
Trial fit, to check fittment.
New Bosch 440cc's- 42lb/hr Motorsport Injectors and fuel rail fitted,
Trumpet base and plenum top reffitted,
A few minor things left to connect up, but it got too cold round the garage this evening (-2 on the car thermometer)

sorry not been on much, but after the clutch gave up 4weeks back i have been working to pay for a bigger clutch,
so while im waiting for the clutch i bought these and decide to start fitting them,
Making an adaptor frame for the seat to fit the capri seat fixings,
New runner to seat frame bracket.
Frame fitted to seat runners.
Trial fit in the car.
Second view.
