SWAYMAR

Post by Ryan »

wondering if anyone here has had any experience with swaymar gear ?. I have a 3L with shaft mount rockers and a 390 holley. The exhaust valves are the same size as the standard intake valves too  . I am expecting beetween 200-250 bhp from this engine, is that realistic ?.

Very Unlikely, I had Swaymar heads, V66 cam, powermax pistons and 390 holley - 167bhp at the wheels

As the honourable gentlemen says - the Essex is a boat anchor whartever you try to do with it,
unless you have milions to spend and you re-design everything - bit like the Cosworth GA?
