hello all,I'm running a VW T25 crew cab with a Cologne 2.8i fitted, the injection plays up and it suffers over revving when hot ,so I'm thinking of junking the injection and fitting a holley 4-barrel as I think the std 38dgas is to small

anyone else done the same

again....hello all 8)

A holley 4 barrel is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too big for a wee 2.8. You'll get more problems trying to get that to work than repairing your injection system. The 2.8 injection system is normally quite good and is obviously well set up for the 2.8 you have. It'll use less fuel, cost less to fix and require less maintenance than the holley.

What checks have you made with the injection system to find this fault?

Must agree putting a holley on a 2.8 might as well put a mini moto carb on it. check out this site for carb aplications.for cfm (cubic feet per minute)

thanks guys,it suffers when stuck in traffic by slowly revving itself the hotter it gets the faster it revs

i have changed the aux air valve with another 2nd hand one,but I'm not sure if that is any good as its a bi-metallic strip so I'm told ??

any help is greatly appreciated :)
