How much boost can a stock 2.8L v6 handle

Iam just curious to know how much boost a stock 2.8L v6 engine can handle? I have this motor in my 1977 Triumph Tr7 and I want more power 
I already have the Offenhauser 4bbl intake for it. Oh by the way its a North American version 2.8L with the 3port exhaust.
