Rev counter

got a 2ltr laser. the rev counter dont work. when the engine starts the oil pressure gauge shoots right up though? wierd i thought?

the oil pressure gauge is mechanical e.g has an oil line to it, and not and electrical wire.
ref the rev counter this sounds criminal have you tried hitting the dash top when running tio see if the rev counter starts working?
it maybe that a wire has come off under the bonnet (doubtful) or the rev counter has died, or the printed circuit board on the back of the dash clocks is damaged,

just thought make sure the multiplug in the back of the dash is in fully too.

iive got another laser thats been written off, might it be worth it justto swap them straight over? should work if the rev counter is busted.


if the circuit boards gone ill swap the whole consol.
