Good morning,
Well morning anyway.
Anyone got some advise.
i was driving the 1.6 capri home the other night and both rear wheels locked up so looks like something has gone in the diff.
Had to get a recovery truck to tow her home,
We couldn't get the wheels to free up. i haven't opened the diff yet but anyone here had a similar problem and if so what was wrong?
Any help would be great .

have you tried disconecting the prop to make sure its not the gearbox?

the planet type gears in the standard diff have a habbit of breaking up if given lots of abuse, and that may of happened to yours (not saying you gave it abuse)
