I have bought a 2.8i

It has half leathers and may have a lsd

can you tell by the outside look or do u have to take the cover off.

You can't tell from the outside as far as i know mate but there is a simple check. Jack the back of the car up, so both wheels are off the ground and free to rotate. Spin one of the wheels with your hands, keep an eye on the other side wheel. If both wheels spin the same way it's an lsd, if they turn the opposite directions it's not.

i agree.

There's an important test you should also do.

Get someone else to hold one wheel and force the other round.
You should be able to turn it but it should be pretty stiff.
It should turn smoothly with no noise.

If it turns easy, it's well worn.

If it does not turn and the wheels seem to be locked together, it's welded and dangerous.
