The 2.9 12V is the sensible choice. Removing the the injection system in favour of a carb would be a huge step backwards. If you get the engine from a Sierra 4x4, you can expect 180+ and an easy life. They fit using 2.8 bits - mounts, gearbox etc and the fuel tank and pump. Nothing complicated about...

When you get the relays you need, you will see that the pins are numbered.

30 = supply from battery
87 = out-put to what you are powering.
85 & 86 = switching circuit

Better still just send the loom to me and I'll sort it out for you.

Not at all sure you know what you are doing. The loom you removed from the Granada or Sierra should have 2 relays added to it. Would also be wise to add some fuses too. The coil is powered from the original coil supply but you must remove the ballast resistor. Black wire from ignition switch - will ...

Manual steering is possible but un-wise. The way to do it is to use the power steering cross member and weld on the manual rack fixings. You can then use 2.8 engine mounts without any further changes. Using the type 9 is also a bad idea. Regardless of other oppinion, the 24V does not run to it's ful...

No where on the Caprisport site are AVO shocks recommended. They are simply mentioned as being fitted to the silver 2.9 EFI. Gaz rear shocks are also listed as being fitted to the 24v. again, no recommendation. Seems to me that it's always someone else fault - about time you took ownership for your ...

BMW headlamps

There is a set in the Sales & Wants - price reflects the work involved. They are stock fit on E30 - 3 series E32 - 7 series E34 - 5 series It's not a 10 minute job but it is worth doing. Just fitting a HID conversion does't realy work - the reflector and lense are the problem rather than the bulb. T...

If you're new to the Capri world, I guess that might be a fair assumtion. As it turns out, the 2.8 and the 2 litre do exactly the same job. The reason for using a 2 litre servo is that larger bore master cylinders - 25mm and beyond - fit. Something you need if you go to discs on the rear. 23.8 is as...

I'll be in touch for your GTR260 kit (I already have a new Granada Master Cylinder [23.8]) ready to go on. Perhaps I could do the rear conversion at the same time.
If you go to rear discs, you need the 25mm cylinder and I'm guessing, a 2 litre servo.
