what a lovely understated straight looking capri...what was the performance like running the cologne on a carb, compared to injection??

Just realised my fuel tank that was made for my capri had fuel outlet pipe in the top,so I may still have to get a fuel pump that pulls,have found out that rangerover pumps are pullers,but will it keep up with chevy engine? it should do....because itll be regulated down anyway...The trick is to sel...

The cherry bomb type exhausts do get a lot louder with time!!

Theyre actually fairly quiet (but nice and deep sounding) when new :lol:

But now youve got me wondering about my exhaust system...its a peter Lloyd rallying 2 inch big bore system....its not over loud though (i think) :lol:

ive got a facet silver top competition pump on my capri..

and its mounted in the engine bay....it wouldnt be powerful enough for a v8 though, its only rated upto 200bhp applications :roll:

more than enough for my 2.1 pinto though :lol:

ive got a 2.1 pinto in my capri with a 1600 axle 3:75.1 ratio...

seems to cope well enough...acceleration is pretty fruity!!

and with twin 45 DCOE"s i can hit the red line in 5th, about 120ish mph on the speedo....but i am aware how innacurate capri speedos are :lol:

Hi, Nope no carbs fitted, manifold has now been identified as a Mk1 grp1 escort manifold. Unfortunatley i listed the manifold on ebay as i have just started a 24v cosssy conversion.
