doesn't touch the rack mate. You can fit the 2.8 FARB to the laser shell using all the original 2.8 fittings... i.e. the 2 clamps at the front. The Track control arms are identical, so the abr will fit straight through.

as far as I know, the Megasquirt II does spark aswell as fuel. Often referrred to as Megasquirt Extra I think... I'm seriously tempted to do this on mine as I already run mapped ignition. to check the gauge, join the 2 contacts on the sender together and the gauge should go full scale.

2.8i Turbo on average gave me 28MPG and up to 32 on a good run... down as low as 12 to 18 when having fun. 2.1 Pinto with 160BHP averaging 28 to 30MPG these days with mappable ignition... was on avearge 24MPG with distributor... had it give 35 on a run which was nice. Your 2.8 does sound excessive. ...
