Well i have flow from the pump to the carb and it will rev all day provided i shut the flaps so i'm assuming the float chamber is getting enough fuel although the level is questionable as i didn't check (it could be me but the haynes way of setting this seems open to interpritation). There is no fue...

I'll take it to bits again tommorrow as i'm thinking the same. It came off a car that can't have been run for a while. The float chamber and jets were scaled up although i cleaned it the best i could. The holes are so bloody small though i suppose they are easily blocked. Gone through two cans of ca...

All of the haynes fault finding stuff was pointing to the head gasket. Finally replaced it (had to drill two bolts out :x ) and she runs swet as a nut with the VV fitted. You could see where the gasket had gone as it had rusted one of the bolts into the block although a bit of brute force and ignora...

Mine has done the same for ages and still does after poly bushing the front end. I think it was engineered into the car by Ford  Dont overlook the easiest answers. If its realy that bad you need to start from the begining. I had a set of budget tyres on the front of a calibra once that went egg...
