It must be cos its been doin over 100 miles a day, a lot of it motorway. Very embaressing stuck in traffic as its a couple of minutes before it'll start again if you stall it. Have sit there reving it like a t**t to keep it going.

Idle

Hi all, Recently my 2.0 has been running worse to the point it won't idle 90 % of the time and then it does unexpectedly. I've tried setting carb up as per weber instructions and the haynes. I have just had it in bits to check jets etc, put it all back and now its even worse. You put your foot down ...

Well I have studs on one door and holes on the other like the wings :?: The moulding are past salvage i think :cry: They are bent, thanks partly to me and partly to kids. Only the door ones have survived.

Side moulding holes

Hi all, I took off the plastic moulding on my laser to have it blown over, but the studs have corroded away. I now have holes down the side of the car and cant get new trim for love nor money. I've been told filler won't do and they will need welding up but this will mean major bodywork which is out...

Coilovers

Has anyone used the DIY kits you can get to convert standard struts to coilovers? How do you know how far down the strut to weld the threaded tubes :?:

*update*

Messed about, removed things one by one. Their is a kind of star washer behind the indicator cancelling thing. Either that or a collapsed bearing race.
It seems its allowing the shaft to rattle inside coumn. Does anyone know of a servicing kit you can get for a mk3 steering column?
