Hi, the sides of the runners. With the sunroof wound back they are inside the appature on top. They are stainless steel. Then wind the roof back and lift up by hand. This should expose the screws in the sides.
Cheers.

Now that is a good question. If I remember right you have to remove the stainless steel guides/runners. The I think the screws are in the sides.
Sorry if it is a bit vague, it has been a while since I last looked at one in bits.

Hi, you can adjust the sunroof by releasing the screws that attach it to the runners. You can square it up and retighten the screws. There is only one cable and it is a worm type, push me-pull me cable. It pushes a frame in the middle which moves the sunroof.

Hi, you can buy replacement rubbers for your TCA's. As long as the ball joint has not gone rusty or has play in it, just repack with grease and fit new rubber dust cover.

The Capri is relitivly easy to do. RWD Fords are one of the simplest cars to change a clutch on. Another way if there is two of you is to remove and refit the box, is to have somone in the car with a rope around the tailshaft housing and support it this way. Then as you are under the car you just ne...

Hi, are you sure you need a positive to do the check. Normally just touching the terminal to ground will do the trick. You may damage the gauge by putting a pos feed on the cable.

Hi, thanks for the reply. The Escort was an original Gartrac car.
There are a couple of ATB diffs on E-Bay at the mo and after reading the description it sounds like it is one of these units I have.

What atlas axle LSD have I got.

Hi all, about 10 years ago I bought an axle off a mk3 Gartrac Escort. It has a LSD unit fitted. I also have an axle from a 2.8i special Capri. Now on the Capri axle when you turn one wheel in one direction the other turns in the same direction as you would expect. However on my Gartrac axle the opos...

Hi, sounds like you may need to remove your wings to carry out a proper repair of your sills. Fibreglass wings are fine but you would probly benifit from fitting a strut brace just to add rigidity.

Hi, there is a cut off date for having fog lamps. I think it is before 1975 which does not help you but check with your local mot station for the date. My Mk1 Escort does not have fog lamps and does not need to have them legally. Ford did make a foglamp kit to fit to the Mk2 Escort and Mk1 Fiesta wh...
