I have a 1.6 laser and considering putting a 2.0 zetec into it, would the 4 speed and the standard diff have good ratio's or would they be all wrong?

Ok I have a mk3 1.6 capri with an atlas axle (i think) and my dad has a lsd for an english axle. So my question is could the lsd be modified to fit into the atlas axle? If so what modifications? Or would I be better putting an english axle in, or are the dimension totally wrong for a mk3 capri? Than...
