52630 listed for 2.8 in some cataloges - it's wrong - has a spade not round terminal and resistance is too high
so will just touch the lower end of the scale if at all.
that must be the one i've got then, as thats excatly what happens
thanks for that will get one on order (make that two)

ok done an ohms test and the sender works ok
its got a black top (don't know if thats the right one )
was also thinking if it could be the electronic part behind the dash, as my fuel guage is going erratic at the moment,
have sent neil an email just haven't got reply as yet.

Temp sender problem

Ok changed the temp sender on my 2.8i but still can't get a reading from the temp guage! have earthed the wires and the temp guage goes to the red(so i'm thinking that the guage is ok) how can i test the sender unit? tried putting the old one in boiling water but got no reading any help would be gre...

metering head

what is the order for the fuel pipes on the metering head,
working from the mixture screw in a clock wise direction,
mine is set up as 2.3.6.4.5.1.
dont know if this is correct or not.as can't find any information on it

I have the inner cartridge as mine are stuffed but wasn't aware of the bushes.

hi bought a modified handbrake cable from c/s can some one please tell me how to fit it. i keep hearing something about drilling a hole in the lever?

2ltr servo part number

Hi does anyone know the ford part number for a capri 2ltr servo,
Reason for asking is i bought one from first4spares and what they sent me is not one but they will not refund me until i can give them the ford part number, will go to ford tomorrow but thought id ask here first,

why go to the 2ltr servo when you have the 2.8 servo?
shouldn't the 2.8 work better?
