2.8i Water Pump Part Number

I need a 2.8i special water pump as the on in the car is weeping out the bottom. Is this the same as the Granada 2.8i? I can see listings for the Granada on eBay, but not for the Capri 2.8i. Thanks

thanks..that makes sense..so if the studs are broken off I could weld something in from the backside of the door, ie a similar sized bolt with the head on the inside of the door and the rest poking through..Cheers

So the side molding on the door is held on with studs that are welded to the door? Do the studs just friction fit into the molding? I am looking at pulling the molding off and not sure how it comes off..

Now that is a good question. If I remember right you have to remove the stainless steel guides/runners. The I think the screws are in the sides. Sorry if it is a bit vague, it has been a while since I last looked at one in bits. What do you mean by the sides? Sides of the runners or sides of the su...

Sunroof misalignment

The sunroof seems to be misaligned when it closed, with the drivers side sitting farter back than the pass side. Is there something I can adjust to get the panel to move evenly on both sides? Is there two cables, one on each side? and maybe one has stretched? The only way to get it totally closed is...

So, had my friend at the local shop put in the poly bushes, and it was a bear. Good thing they did the work! The cost was reasonable and I still had clean hands at the end of it all! The car handles fantastic, a lot more precise and the wandering has disappeared. thanks for all the info. Would recom...

Before you rip the fan out, check the switch on the dash to make sure it's working..easier to do that first and if it solves the problem you won't end up taking the fan assembly out for nothing..don't ask how I know this

Looks great, and I assume no problems fitting under the wheels? Any changes to the master or front to rear balance needed? You ought to be able to stop on a spot with those!

Well, weather has improved so now looking at doing the front bushes...the two for the front stabilizer bars look easy, but the inner bushing for the track control arm looks like it might cause some problems. When I pull the bolt out and drop the track control arm out of the pivot, how difficult is i...
