just wanna say thanks for the support. My mechanic came down on friday and confirmed that it was the head gasket. Its been taken now and should be back soon in fully working order.

yea had a feeling id blown one if not two of them. i can get a set cheap on ebay, around 30 for a set. how much am i looking at for labour roughly. i have a good mechanic but is it much labour hours?

when my 2.8i is ideling one exhaust is fine and the other seems to chug slightly giving of more fumes that the other with small liquid deposits spitting out. should i be worried about this

no matter what ive done. i have oil pressure thats pretty much just above red line always. it goes up slightly when i rev it at stand still. ive topped up the oil and still no difference.

any ideas

anyone know how or where i can get some custom gauge faces for my 1983 2.8i

i've been looking everywhere but had no luck. i just want to give it a new look as im going to get the gauge rings chrome plated.

hi, i just read the post on the bulbs and changing them for brighter ones which has answered the exact question i was going to ask. so now i move slightly on to ask if anyone knows how to go about changing the illumination of the dash to something other than blue/green with out using coloured bulbs....
