Thanks for that. I am toying with the idea of the 15" Brookland wheels, but am quite keen to keep it on the 13s as I think they suit the period of the car (it came on the Pepper pots which were swopped when new to 8 x 13 Revolution Competitions, and now the Minilites) I'll be in touch for your GTR26...

Have you checked the Injection Head etc. The flap in the air box and valve etc should move freely, but are prone to getting a stuck if its parked for a long time. I would not reccomend stripping it without all the necessary parts as the fuel head WILL leak afterwards. Redex cleaner or similar may he...

Bottom end etc is stock, but perhaps the Janspeed Turbo makes a difference

Edit

BTW, not sure if its flywheel or wheels, so being pessimitic, I'd say flywheel, although in 1984 it was making 285bhp (flywheel) on 5 star at 11psi - OES rollers at that time

Is it possible to use an Alloy 4 pot caliper with this conversion rather than the single pot Granada items? I have 8 x 13 Minilites and want to get an upgrade inside the 13s, but would prefer a light 4 pot if possible

2.8i + (just 24 years old)

Not too bad for the original engine I'd say. I've had her from new (August 1983) and have had to rebuild the 5 speed twice. Now need a brake upgrade as newer machinery make this weakness very apparent! Blue lines are after setting up on the Alan Jeffreys rolling road following unleaded conversion. h...

Had my 2.8i from new (Aug 83). It has pulled left to a greater or lesser degree ever since new and you can only imagine all the stuff I have changed in that time! Never completely solved, but some things worked better than others. The wheel wobble has been a common recurring theme, and I have found ...

Did you get sorted? I think I have a pair of 235/60/13 Pirelli P6 that I removed and stored in the loft years ago.
