New Capri Fuel Tank & location

Hi Guys It looks like i am going to be fitting a custom watts linkage to my Capri race project, however it now leads the problem that there may not be enough space to accomodate the linkage etc with the OE fuel tank. I am just wondering if anyone else has looked into replacement options? Don't reall...

I have since now decided that i will keep two different rack setups, one will be standard setup rack with polybushed mounts, the other rack will be built up with a Kiley Clinton quick rack conversion kit, with this i will fit the rack with solid alloy rack clamps.

Thanks for the info :) I have had a look else where and i think i will build some gussets for the front inner wings to bulkhead area, but otherwise i not sure i will do much. I have however decided to fit a Watts linkage, that may throw up a few issues so i may have to brace the rear chassis rails??...

Hi Guys Owned a 1979 Mk3 2.0 GL in Diamond White for 6 years, i knew i had to scrap due to condition so i purchased another Mk3 Shell which was a 1.6 GL. Solid steering rack mounts or Polybush?

Hi Guys
I will be fitting a quick rack in my Mk3 Capri, the eventual intention is to race the car in the Scottish Classics.
What is the most recommended way for securing the Rack either using Polybushed mounts or using Solid mounts?
Really looking for advice if anyone has experience?
